The Role
Professional Standards: Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to safety policies at all times.
Coordination: Update project schedules, coordinate technician calendars, and communicate project expectations and commitments.
Communication: Maintain clear communication with clients, teammates, and the Operations Manager regarding project status, scope changes, and manpower needs.
Documentation: Ensure accurate documentation of project statuses, field data, and scope completion.
Technical Proficiency: Assist team members with loading and unloading work vehicles, setting up, assembling, and disassembling equipment required for project tasks.
Engagement: Show engagement with colleagues through active participation in on-the-job training, learning TAB terminology, and proactively assisting with tasks.
Safety: Demonstrate ladder safety, proper use of tools, and adherence to OSHA safety requirements.

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Assistant in Oxford. The role will assist in ensuring the reliable operation and maintenance of critical mechanical systems across a busy environment.
The role will be carrying out planned, preventative, and reactive maintenance on a variety of mechanical systems, with a strong focus on safety, compliance, and high standards of service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Reporting to the Operations Manager - Estates
 - To undertake the maintenance of the building as directed by the PPM schedule and the management, using the appropriate trade skills required
 - Work alone with minimum supervision or within a team to carry out maintenance/repair of M&E services plant and equipment across the site.
 - To integrate and communicate effectively with other trade staff such as engineers particularly for M&E maintenance, new and remedial works.
 - To carry out M&E works as required i.e. new works, refurbishment and capital works replacement programme.
 - Working 40 hours per week, from 08:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday, with a requirement to work flexible hours to suit the operational needs of the site as required
 
Qualifications and Experience
Recognised engineering apprenticeship or approved equivalent NVQ Level 2 (or higher) or equivalent relevant experience Demonstrable experience in a relevant mechanical maintenance role City & Guilds in steam maintenance or BOAS certification Experience with calorifiers, PHEs, pipe fitting, industrial hot water systems Knowledge of specialist pressure systems Familiarity with other trades is advantageousThe ideal candidate will bring strong communication and interpersonal skills, a flexible and proactive mindset, the ability to work independently or collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams, and have a customer-focused attitude rooted in a commitment to service excellence.

This will suit an experienced Lettings Manager who is heavily experienced in valuations, winning new business and is looking to join a company which can offer career progression and longevity. 
Duties/Functions of the role:
- Identifying business opportunities and create self-generated appointments.
 - Conducting quality Market Appraisals and win instructions in line with the company standard conversion rate.
 - Arranging, organising and conducting viewings and letting properties.
 - Managing and maintaining an accurate applicant database.
 - Maintaining regular contact with Landlords and applicants and noting all correspondence and communications.
 - Facilitating a let through to move in.
 - Assisting with business generation.
 - Various ad-hoc administration office duties.

Requirements of the role:
- 4 years minimum experience in lettings
