We are currently recruiting for a skilled and motivated Multi Trade Plumber to join a leading housing provider. In this role, you will deliver high-quality repairs, refurbishments, and maintenance services across social housing properties for local authorities and housing associations.
Responsibilities:
- Undertaking a wide range of reactive plumbing repairs and planned maintenance tasks in occupied properties, including but not limited to installing or repairing plumbing systems, fixing leaks, replacing taps, toilets, showers, and installing/repairing kitchen and bathroom units
- performing minor carpentry, tiling, painting and plastering as part of multi trade duties
- diagnosing and resolving plumbing and maintenance issues efficiently while adhering to health and safety regulations
- using a PDA device to receive instructions, log work details, provide feedback and update records on completed or pending tasks
Requirements:
- Full UK Driving Licence (manual)
- Basic Criminal Record Check (Disclosure and Barring Service)
- Previous experience within social housing

- Carry out high-quality electrical repairs and maintenance to social housing properties, ensuring work meets the needs of tenants and complies with safety and regulatory standards, working in both occupied and vacant homes as required.
- Use a PDA or mobile device to accurately complete timesheets, job sheets, and records detailing the work carried out and materials used after each visit.
- Collaborate and coordinate with other trades and departments as necessary to ensure timely and effective completion of repairs and maintenance tasks, maintaining clear communication throughout.

A Plumber is required, working for a local council. The Plumber role will involve carrying out maintenance works on domestic properties. As well as plumbing works, it would be ideal if you can carry out basic multi trade works, such as; tiling, patch plastering and carpentry. Must have previous social housing/domestic experience.
Daily responsibilities of a Plumber are:
- Carrying out works on domestic properties
- Providing a high level of customer service
- Using a PDA system to organise and complete jobs
Requirements of a Plumber:
- Must have a full UK driving licence
- Must have previous social housing experience
- Must have experience of using a PDA
