We're looking for a Electrician to support maintenance works across a single housing estate in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. This is a static role based within a well-established neighbourhood, with all properties located within walking distance.

Employees benefit from secure on-site tool storage, reducing the need for daily equipment transport. While a van and fuel card are not issued for this role, a pool van is available on the estate for use during work hours if needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Performing a comprehensive range of responsive repairs, maintenance tasks, and planned works.
  • Identifying and resolving electrical faults reported by tenants.
  • Addressing urgent electrical issues, including power outages, faulty wiring, and safety hazards.
  • Installing new electrical systems, such as lighting, sockets, consumer units, and complete rewiring in both occupied and vacant properties.
  • Conducting Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) and necessary remedial work to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Upholding a professional and respectful demeanour when engaging with residents and housing staff.
  • Using a hand held electronic device to receive job instructions, update progress, and log completed works.

Requirements:

  • Full UK Driving Licence (manual)
  • Level 3 Award in the Requirements for Electrical Installations BS7671:2018
  • Level 3 Diploma in Electrical Installations (2365)
  • Level 3 NVQ in Electrical Installations (2357)

The role of the Senior Quantity Surveyor

The Senior Quantity Surveyor will be joining a small cost management consultancy who are looking to grow their team.

As a company they cover projects all over London and the southeast of England and deliver a range of sectors including Commercial, Residential, Hotel, Retail and Life sciences.
