I am working with an up-and-coming project management consultancy based in Ilford, who are searching for a confident and client-facing Project Manager to join their supportive team and run the whole lifecycle of project delivery in the Retail, Healthcare, Childcare and Veterinary sector.

The Company that the Project Manager will join:

The Project Manager will be joining a modern consultancy that have a strong pipeline of projects in the Retail, Veterinary, Healthcare and Childcare sectors. The Project Manager will be working alongside a growing team 10 consultants including Project Managers, Quantity Surveyors, Associate Directors and Project Directors.

The Project Manager role:

The Project Manager will bring experience delivering the full lifecycle of schemes which are predominantly fit outs and new builds with contract values as high as £10m. The Project Manager will be collaborating with the Quantity Surveyors appointed to the same projects throughout all stages of the lifecycle to ensure that costs are being controlled.

The Project Manager will be delivering high-quality schemes with contract values between £150k-£10m.

You will be responsible for:

  • Collaborating with whole Project Management team to drive schemes forward to completion
  • Communicating with external parties such as contractors and sub-contractors
  • Provide support/mentorship to junior Project Managers
  • Reporting progress feedback on Projects to the Senior Directors weekly

  • Attending weekly site visits
  • Arranging and attending client meetings
  • Ensure all works are compliant with safety and quality standards

Project Manager requirements:

  • Previous experience working for a consultancy
  • Exposure to delivering projects in Retail, Healthcare, Veterinary or Childcare sector is preferred
  • MRICS or MAPM Chartered is preferred
  • BSc/MSc Construction Project Management
  • Capable of managing Schemes simultaneously
  • Able to commute to Ilford
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

    The Role The practice is seeking a committed, ambitious and knowledgeable Senior Heritage Consultant to join its heritage consultancy team, based in the Cambridge studio.

    Covering projects across the East of England (with some London work), the postholder will report to the Heritage Consultancy Regional Team Leader. Acting as project leader, they will deliver expert advice, advocacy and guidance across a wide range of heritage assets, including:

    Conservation management plans

    Significance and capacity analysis

    Heritage impact assessments

    In addition to supporting in-house architectural projects, the role will involve leading external commissions. A key responsibility will be business development: preparing fee proposals and tenders, cultivating client relationships, and contributing to a strong pipeline of work.

    Full-time or part-time (minimum 4 days per week) applications will be considered.

    Key Responsibilities

    Lead heritage consultancy input on multiple projects, managing deadlines, deliverables and client expectations.

    Skills and Qualifications

    Essential
