A site manager is required for a fit-out project, based in London. Our client is looking for an experienced and hardworking site manager to work on a building and construction project based in London and is accessible by transport links.

Key responsibilities of a Site Manager - Fit Out:

  • Overseeing progress of the construction site on a day-to-day basis. Managing and coordinating all fit-out activities on site, including subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Ensuring the required safety procedures are followed and meeting the health and safety standards.
  • Liaising with the project managers on a regular basis and providing detailed reports of the progress on site.
  • Monitor workmanship and ensure any issues that arise are dealt with in an appropriate manner.
  • Develop and maintain project timelines to avoid projects overrunning.

Our client are looking for someone who is capable of assisting with the following tasks:

  • Assisting trades on site with moving of materials.
  • Some lifting maybe required so need to be physical fit.

  • Keeping the site clean and tidy.

The site itself:

The site is in a remote location with liited public transport so having your own transport would be beneficial.

There is on site parking and welfare facilities.

We are working with a client who require a Telehandler Operator to start on a tight residential site just outside of Oxford.

The telehandlder operator must have experience working on tight sites and must have a valid CPCS or NPORS.

There is roughly 6 months of work left for the right person.

The site itself has free parking and is accessible via public transport. There are also convenience stores nearby.

Duties for the successful Telehandler Operator:

- Operate a telehandler to move, locate, and reposition materials

- Adhere to safety protocols and standards while operating the equipment

- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure efficient work flow

- Assist in loading and unloading materials from trucks or other vehicles

Requirements for the role

- CPCS or NPORS

- Full UK driving license

- Full PPE (Hard Hat, Hi Vis and safety boots)

- Able to provide a reference having done a similar role
