Resident Liaison Officer
Temp on going contract
Covering South East London
£23.95 per hour Umbrella
Successful candidates will be based in the Morden office but be expected to travel across Bromley, Lambeth, Lewisham and Croydon to attend resident surgeries and meet with residents in their homes. Please do not submit candidates who would be unwilling to be office based in Morden 3 days a week nor commit to the work-related travel across South London.
Candidates will need exceptional customer-facing skills and a good understanding of housing management issues.
- Participate and when required lead on local service resident engagement strategies
- Analysis of key data to be used to form our service improvement strategies.
- Facilitate and co-ordinate responses to customers, by working with the local housing team, Customer Contact Centre
- Identify relevant internal and external stakeholders to ensure that any changes to service relating to the project are looked at in their entirety and the full impact of change is understood by all stakeholders
- Manage effective customer communication to ensure that customer satisfaction is high
- Organise and attend stakeholder meetings and produce communication materials using a variety of methods
- Key member of the Housing Neighbourhood Team and will represent the team at meetings and will lead smaller project teams where appropriate
- Provide a customer focused service ensuring all tasks are completed and complaints and/or requests from residents and stakeholders are actioned effectively

I am working with a forward-thinking and modern Quantity Surveying consultancy who are looking to add a Quantity Surveyor to their team. The Quantity Surveyor will be based in the Central London office near London Bridge.
The Quantity Surveyor will be offered Hybrid working.
The Company
The Quantity Surveyor will be joining a highly professional construction consultancy who are looking to grow their team, as they have a strong pipeline of work. You will be joining a small team of 20 Quantity Surveyors and Project Managers.
As a company they cover a range of projects including Commercial, High End Resi, Education and Heritage.
The role of the Quantity Surveyor
The Quantity Surveyor will be working on primarily High-End Residential projects across London.
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will manage projects throughout their life cycle, undertaking both pre and post-contract duties. You will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure project success and maintain a high standard of delivery.
The Quantity Surveyor
- BSc/MSc Quantity Surveying or RICS accredited degree
- MRICS or currently working towards
- 4+ years Quantity Surveying Experience
- Experience within a private practice / consultancy
- Strong Pre and post contract knowledge
- Excellent attitude and team player
- Able to support with mentoring junior colleagues

A dynamic specialist contractor working on major energy-transition infrastructure (energy from waste, power generation and distribution) seeks a seasoned Estimator with proven experience in Roofing & Cladding systems. If you bring strong experience in estimating for Roofing, Cladding, Curtainwall, Façade, Rainscreen or SFS works, and want to join a business delivering high-value infrastructure, this might be your next step.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare accurate and competitive estimates for Roofing & Cladding packages.
Review engineering drawings, specifications and bills of quantities, measure and quantify take-offs for Roofing, Cladding and Curtainwall systems.
Manage multiple tenders simultaneously, delivering costings within tight deadlines.
Liaise with clients, subcontractors and suppliers to obtain and validate pricing, lead times and material specifications for Roofing, Cladding and Curtainwall packages.
Ensure adherence of deliverables to design briefs, specification for Façade, Rainscreen or SFS systems, and contract requirements.
Use estimating software and prepare submission documentation for Roofing & Cladding tenders.
Work closely with the internal team to follow up on estimates, negotiate, secure orders and build client relationships across Roofing, Cladding and Curtainwall markets.
Essential Skills & Experience
Minimum of 3 years’ estimating experience in the Roofing & Cladding sector (including Curtainwall, Façade, Rainscreen or SFS works).
Strong numeracy, excellent attention to detail and ability to manage own workload and priorities for Roofing, Cladding and Curtainwall tenders.
Proficient in IT – ability to learn estimating software quickly, comfortable with Excel pricing schedules and tender portals.
Excellent communication skills – confident engaging with clients, suppliers and internal stakeholders across Roofing, Cladding and Curtainwall projects.
Proven track record of working in a fast-paced estimating team with deadlines and winning bids in the Roofing & Cladding/Facade sector.
