Admin Assistant

We are looking for an admin assistant for one of our clients located in Iver. The company you would be working for is a residential house builder who build and sell over 10,000 homes each year. The role itself would be based in one of their regional offices supporting day to day admin duties.

Duties:

  • Provide administrative support to the office manager, project manager, general contractor, and other construction management staff.
  • Prepare forms such as change orders, purchase orders, service agreements, and subcontracts
  • Answering calls and correspondence.
  • Data Entry.
  • Process payments.

Mechanical Construction Manager (Site based with rotation)

€85k-€100k + Allowance + Accommodation + Flights (17/4 rotation)

We're working with a market leading in MEP contractor who are seeking a Mechanical Construction Manager to join their team on the delivery of a Hyperscale Data Centre project in Sweden. You will be overseeing and directing construction projects from conception to completion.

The business have been established for over 100 years, currently working on projects across EMEA with a strong pipeline of work over the next 3-4 years. With this continuity of work, you can expect excellent progression opportunities within the coming years.

Job Description

As a Mechanical Construction Manager, you will be pivotal to overseeing and directing construction projects from conception to completion. You will review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs, while overseeing all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of engineers and industry experts to successfully deliver cutting edge projects

  • Ability to determine project schedule needs, provide support in the completion of project schedule, 12 weeks look aheads, reporting on site progress and highlighting future issues / roadblocks to progress to Main Contractor / Companies contracts manager.

  • Conduct regular safety walks of the site and report to site supervisor for closure.

  • Conduct regular quality walks of the site and report to site supervisor for closure.

  • Lead commissioning activities ensuring timely completion and reporting of roadblock and follow up to ensure prompt closure.

Skills and Requirements

  • Mechanical trade or Engineering background essential

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience

  • Experience working with any of the following materials and jointing methods also an advantage: PVC, PVDF, PP, S/S, C/S, orbital and tig welding and fusion jointing

  • Excellent communication and organisation skills required

  • Excellent IT skills required - MS Office/Excel

  • A knowledge of database systems such as FileMaker would be advantageous
