Role information: Our client is looking for an Electrical Supervisor in Blackburn, this is on a permanant basis.

Duties include :

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of electrical teams to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Conduct inspections of electrical installations and systems to ensure compliance with regulations and safety standards.
  • Provide guidance and support in troubleshooting electrical issues, utilising both power tools and hand tools effectively.
  • Develop work schedules and assign tasks to team members based on project requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and project progress.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems within larger projects.
  • Train and mentor junior staff on best practices in electrical work, safety protocols, and equipment handling.

They are currently leading high-profile cladding remediation projects for multilevel buildings in London and managing a variety of retrofit projects across the UK. Due to this expansion, they are seeking an experienced Architectural Technician to join their team.

Role & Responsibilities

  • RIBA Stage 4 through to construction
  • Producing drawings, technical documents, and specifications
  • Ensuring regulatory compliance, including the Building Safety Act and associated gateways
  • Overseeing site inspections and responding to site queries
  • Maintaining design and technical quality
  • Liaising with clients and participating in client-facing responsibilities.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Recognised qualification in architectural technology or equivalent
  • Possess a minimum of 3 years of UK project experience
  • Experience with Revit is essential
  • Strong technical and detailing ability,
  • Experience in retrofit and remediation work would be highly beneficial
  • Effective communicator - both written and verbal.
