Responsibilities:
- Carrying out a wide range of electrical repairs and maintenance in both occupied and void properties.
- Installing, repairing, and upgrading small fittings, wiring, and heating systems, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Conducting fault finding and diagnostics to identify and resolve electrical issues efficiently.
- Completing full electrical upgrades and Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) as required.
- Using a PDA device to record timesheets, worksheets, and details of work undertaken, including materials used.
- Working safely and professionally in occupied homes, respecting tenants and minimizing disruption.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, electrical codes, and housing association standards.
- Coordinating with colleagues, tenants, and site managers to schedule work and maintain smooth operations.
- Maintaining accurate records of completed works and reporting any additional maintenance needs.
Requirements:
- Full UK Driving Licence (manual)
- City & Guilds 2382-22 18th Edition
- City & Guilds 2365 Level 3 Diploma in Electrical Installations
- City & Guilds 2391-52 Inspection and Testing or equivalent (preferred)
- Basic Criminal Record Check (DBS)

- Performing responsive maintenance, cyclical works, refurbishment projects, void property repairs, and home servicing to keep homes safe, comfortable, and in good condition.
- Using a personal digital assistant (PDA) or similar device to manage work schedules, documenting progress, and maintaining accurate job records.
- Diagnosing electrical faults effectively, determining the most suitable and value-driven repair solutions, and arranging materials as needed.
- Completing all tasks to a high standard while meeting company expectations, building regulations, and legal compliance.
