Control Systems Engineer - Data Centre Project

Clear. are seeking a talented Control Systems Engineer to play a key role in delivering a state-of-the-art data centre in Frankfurt. In this position, you will take ownership of designing, programming, and commissioning advanced automation solutions, integrating BMS, PLC, and SCADA systems to ensure exceptional reliability, efficiency and performance.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement control system solutions for mission-critical infrastructure.
  • Configure and program BMS (Building Management Systems) for environmental control and energy efficiency.
  • Develop PLC logic to manage automation, process control, and safety systems.
  • Configure and maintain SCADA systems for real-time monitoring, alarm management, and data analytics.
  • Perform on-site testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning activities.
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure smooth integration.
  • Produce technical documentation including system specifications, drawings, and user manuals.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable standards, safety regulations, and client requirements.
  • Desired Experience:

  • Proven experience with BMS, PLC, and SCADA programming, configuration, and maintenance.
  • Strong understanding of industrial control systems, instrumentation, and communication protocols (BACnet, Modbus, OPC, etc.).
  • Previous project experience in data centres, critical environments, or industrial automation.
  • Ability to interpret engineering documentation such as P&IDs, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (German is a plus).
  • Willingness to be based on-site in Frankfurt and travel for project requirements when necessary.

    Duties:

    • Management of maintenance for designated properties under your portfolio
    • Liaise with Landlords and Tenants for maintenance issues.
    • Arrange all necessary safety certificates for managed properties.
    • Discuss deposit deductions at end of tenancies.
    • Handle deposit disputes
    • Registering deposits
    • Serving all notices associated with AST and rent Regulated tenancies (Section 21, 10. 13 and 8 notices)
    • Chasing and managing arrears
    • Managing of finances and floats held on account for managed properties.
    • Inspect properties every 6 months and report to clients.
    • Assist team with pre-tenancy arrangements (arranging inventories, cleans etc)
    • Liaise with Block Management companies
    • Handling insurance claims
    • Arrange utility account transfers.
    • Completing Leasehold Enquiry Forms for Solicitors and collecting fees for these,
    • Dealing with Solicitors queries to Notices and explaining our fees for these services we provide.
    • Sending relevant Insurance documents and relevant account statements to Solicitors
    • Dealing with all aspects of Rent Registered tenancies, including new rent applications, sending all relevant notices. Admin etc
    • Setting up new Properties and new Tenancies on our system and dealing with amendments once trained

    1 day WFH offered upon successful probation

    An award winning Construction Consultancy are searching for an experienced, client-facing Associate Director to join their Project Management team based near Blackheath.

    The Associate Director will have a strong background working for within Consultancies and bring experience delivering projects within the Residential sector.

    The Company that the Associate Director will join:

    The Associate Director will be joining a growing Consultancy that have a strong reputation for delivering schemes in the Residential sector. The Associate Director will be working closely alongside the Project Director whilst overseeing projects including New Builds, Extensions and Refurbishments with Contract values as high as £30m.

    The Associate Director Role:

    The Associate Director will play a pivotal role in overseeing the full lifecycle of multiple projects from start-finish. The Associate Director will be collaborating with the Project Director and Senior Project Manager and will be offering their full support and knowledge to the wider Project Management team.

    As an Associate Director, you will also be responsible for continuing to grow existing relationships with existing and new clients and stakeholders to ensure they're satisfied with the progress made on their projects.

    You will be responsible for:

    • Working closely with the Project Management team to drive schemes forward to Completion
    • Maintaining relationships with clients, stakeholders and other external parties
    • Support the Senior Project Managers with any challenges faced during project lifecycles
    • Report to Project Director on a weekly basis with project progress
    • Ability to run projects simultaneously
    • Attend weekly meetings with clients to discuss project progress
    • Ensure all works are compliant with safety and quality standards

    The Associate Director Requirements:

    • Previous experience working for a Construction Consultancy
    • Knowledge of Residential sector
    • MRICS or MAPM Chartered is preferred
    • A relevant BSc/MSc in Construction industry would be ideal
    • Ability to manage Schemes simultaneously
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
