Job Title : Freight Tender Executive

Salary : £45,000 - £55,000

Work Type : Hybrid

Job Duties:

  • Manage pricing collation and quotations with vendors and clients.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to gather and share operational information.
  • Support internal teams by creating technical documents and marketing materials (e.g., presentations, route surveys, method statements).
  • Respond to Invitations to Tender (ITTs) and Requests for Information (RFIs) for global projects.
  • Participate in RFQ meetings to understand client requirements.
  • Ensure timely submission of RFQs and ad hoc quotes, including time-sensitive online bids.
  • Track, prioritise, and manage multiple deadlines and tenders effectively.
  • Collaborate with Business Development to develop bid strategies and analyse competitor positioning.
  • Provide feedback to senior management to enhance bid success.
  • Develop and update sales literature as needed.
  • Source and compile pricing from global vendors and offices.
  • Assist in improving bid processes and contract checklists.
  • Contribute to bid structuring, including bid/no-bid analysis, work breakdowns, and senior management reviews.
  • Review and refine bid modules, work processes, and methodology statements.
  • Assess proposal risks in collaboration with Compliance and senior management.
  • Maintain an up-to-date rate sheet database for global operations.
  • Support continuous improvement of sales literature across the Group.
  • Uphold corporate branding and ensure bids are well-structured and persuasive.
  • Provide operational summaries for successful bids.
  • Work with Operations to review performance and gather insights for future proposals.
  • Undertake additional duties as required.
