A well-established cost and project management consultancy are looking to add a Senior Quantity Surveyor to their team based in Waterloo. This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to work on various projects up to £100M, from concept to completion, contributing to both pre- and post-contract duties.
The Company
This Quantity Surveying and Project Management practice are a hands-on and dynamic consultancy who have a drive for growth over the next year or so as they have a strong pipeline of work. Currently a team of 60 people made up of Quantity Surveyors and Project Managers across England.
As a company they cover a range of sectors including Residential, Commercial, Education, Heritage, Healthcare, Leisure and Retail.
Senior Quantity Surveyor Role
The Senior Quantity Surveyor will be leading projects from concept to completion within the Healthcare and Education sectors within London.
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will manage projects throughout their lifecycle, undertaking both pre and post-contract duties. You will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure project success and maintain a high standard of delivery.
You will be responsible for:
- Running projects from concept to completion
- Pre and post contract management
- Liaising with clients and stakeholders
- Producing cost estimates and reports
- Advising on procurement strategies
- Managing project budgets and timeline
The Senior Quantity Surveyor Requirements
- BSc/MSc Quantity Surveying or RICS accredited degree
- Preferably MRICS
- Experience within the built environment
- Experience within a private practice / consultancy
- Strong Pre and post contract knowledge

The successful Building Surveyor will be highly encouraged into the Commercial Real Estate world, supporting landlords and tenants with their properties.
The Building Surveyor role
If you are a Building Surveyor with experience within the professional services world, this would be perfect for you.
You will be providing dilapidation's reports, defect diagnosis, condition surveys, TDD and Party Wall matters. Additionally, all things project management/contract admin will be part of this Building Surveyor role.
The determined Building Surveyor will join a Chartered Surveying practice, who support a myriad of clients including, legal, retail and commercial clients. No two clients will be the same.
