My client is looking for an office manager to join their team based in Manchester, this is a permanent vacancy. The client is a growing construction business with multiple work streams including traditional Cat A and Cat B office fit-outs and specialist engineering projects. This is a full time office based role.
Role Overview
The client is seeking an experienced Office Manager to provide comprehensive administrative support to their directors and business operations. This is a critical business function that goes beyond basic administrative tasks, requiring someone who can take initiative and adapt to the needs of a growing business.
Key Responsibilities
- Diary management
- Manage travel arrangements when required
- Create strategic client engagement plans
- Coordinate client events and entertainment
- Support business development initiatives
- Facilities management (office h&s, stationary etc)
- Potential input with accounts, invoicing, and supplier relationships
- Document control via Procore system
- Manage HSE+Q information
- Maintain pipeline tracking for upcoming projects and tenders
- Lead and champion social value programs
- Track and report on social value outcomes
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in a similar office management or administrative role
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Strong communication abilities, both written and verbal
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, - PowerPoint, word & Excel all important
- Experience with document control systems (Procore experience beneficial)
- Adaptable
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Experience in the construction or engineering sector
- Knowledge of social value frameworks and initiatives
- Experience with business development support
- Familiarity with CRM systems
- Understanding of basic accounting processes
Salary range: £35,000 - £38,000 per annum, depending on experience

Daily responsibilities will include:
- Working alongside a machine driver carrying out the installation of 500m duct work & pipes
- Assisting with muck shift
- Aspects of drainage work and road formation
