My client is looking for an office manager to join their team based in Manchester, this is a permanent vacancy. The client is a growing construction business with multiple work streams including traditional Cat A and Cat B office fit-outs and specialist engineering projects. This is a full time office based role.

Role Overview

The client is seeking an experienced Office Manager to provide comprehensive administrative support to their directors and business operations. This is a critical business function that goes beyond basic administrative tasks, requiring someone who can take initiative and adapt to the needs of a growing business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diary management
  • Manage travel arrangements when required
  • Create strategic client engagement plans
  • Coordinate client events and entertainment
  • Support business development initiatives
  • Facilities management (office h&s, stationary etc)
  • Potential input with accounts, invoicing, and supplier relationships
  • Document control via Procore system
  • Manage HSE+Q information
  • Maintain pipeline tracking for upcoming projects and tenders
  • Lead and champion social value programs
  • Track and report on social value outcomes

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in a similar office management or administrative role
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Strong communication abilities, both written and verbal
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, - PowerPoint, word & Excel all important
  • Experience with document control systems (Procore experience beneficial)
  • Adaptable

Desirable Skills & Experience

  • Experience in the construction or engineering sector
  • Knowledge of social value frameworks and initiatives
  • Experience with business development support
  • Familiarity with CRM systems
  • Understanding of basic accounting processes

Salary range: £35,000 - £38,000 per annum, depending on experience

Groundworker required for a Groundworks company to carrying out ducting, services and drainage works on a Solar Farm in Goole.

Daily responsibilities will include:

  • Working alongside a machine driver carrying out the installation of 500m duct work & pipes
  • Assisting with muck shift
  • Aspects of drainage work and road formation

  • CSCS Card
  • NPORS or CPCS Dumper/Roller (Preferred)
