We're working with a market leading contractor who are seeking and Electrical Qa/Qc Engineer to join their team on the delivery of Hyperscale Data Centre Construction projects across Europe.

Responsibilities

  • The Electrical QA/QC Engineer must prepare handover inspection and test documentation
  • Coordinate commissioning of electrical systems within the teams and other stakeholders
  • Full review of inspection and test documentation
  • Review and issue final handover packages to the client
  • Perform quality inspections of the installations and control the close out of defects
  • Oversee that testing is correctly executed on the project
  • Liaise with the construction management team and client on installation and quality matters
  • Attend quality meetings

Requirements

  • Electrical Trade Background and/or a qualification in either Electrical Engineering
  • 4+ years' experience in a similar role essential.
  • Good Knowledge of Installation and commissioning.
  • Strong knowledge of Data Center equipment / environment
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational / planning skills.

I have a strong opportunity with an established multi-disciplinary construction consultancy for a Quantity Surveyor/Employers Agent in Euston London. This role plays a key part in delivering affordable housing projects.

The Company

The Quantity Surveyor will be joining a small but forward-thinking consultancy based in the heart of London, just a 5-minute walk from Euston station. They are currently a team of 50 Quantity Surveyors, Project Managers, Building Surveyors, Principal Designers and Site inspectors but are looking to add more Quantity Surveyors to the team this year.

The company are known for working on Residential projects including social housing, care homes, student accommodation, BTR and new build homes.

Quantity Surveyor/Employers Agent Role

The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for overseeing the whole lifecycle of the project, from concept to completion. You will be undertaking pre contract duties including Cost planning, estimating, feasibility studies, tender documentation and procurement advice. You will also be undertaking post contract duties including valuations, variations, cost reporting and final accounts.

The Quantity Surveyor will also be acting as Employers Agent on the Residential projects.

The Quantity Surveyor Requirements

  • BSc/MSc Quantity Surveying or RICS accredited degree
  • Preferably MRICS
  • Employers Agent Experience
  • Experience on High End Residential Projects
  • Experience within a private practice / consultancy
  • Strong Pre and post contract knowledge

You'll take ownership of PPM schedules, fault-finding, and remedial works across a variety of technical environments including advanced manufacturing, commercial, and critical facilities. You'll be working on everything from air handling units and ventilation systems to chillers, boilers, water systems, and mechanical plant - across manufacturing, logistics, food production, and commercial sites. Your Role As A Mobile Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Will Include:

* Delivering planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and inspections

* Fault-finding, reactive repairs, and small installations on mechanical systems

* Maintaining HVAC plant, ventilation systems, and BMS-controlled equipment

* Overseeing subcontractors and ensuring compliance with RAMS and QHSE procedures

* Participating in a call-out rota, with occasional travel beyond the Midlands

As A Mobile Mechanical Maintenance Engineer You Will Need:

* Advanced Level 3 NVQ in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC, or Plumbing (or equivalent)

* Strong experience in commercial maintenance - ideally data centres or clean environments

* Fault diagnosis skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision

* Technical knowledge of mechanical and HVAC systems: boilers, pumps, AHUs, FCUs, pipework

* Full UK Driving Licence
