  • Lead and manage large or complex fire engineering projects, taking full ownership of deliverables

  • Review and approve technical submissions from subcontractors and consultants
  • Lead design team meetings, workshops, and client presentations
  • Mentor and support junior and mid-level engineers, fostering their professional development
  • Represent the consultancy with clients, authorities having jurisdiction, and at project meetings
  • Keep up to date with UK legislation, guidance, and industry best practices, ensuring projects meet the highest standards.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Degree qualified in Fire Engineering (BEng/BSc/MSc) and Chartered (or near completion)
  • Extensive experience delivering fire engineering solutions for UK projects
  • Strong knowledge of UK fire safety legislation, guidance, and design standards
  • Proven experience managing multiple projects and teams concurrently
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • UK driving licence preferred but not essential
