JOB DESCRIPTION:
Cleaning team leader required for an immediate start in the Thirsk. Our client is looking for an experienced, fast paced, and hardworking cleaner to join their team. This is a temporary to permanent role for the right candidate.
Working hours
Monday to Friday
15:30pm - 18:15
Daily responsibilities will include:
Ensure all classrooms, corridors, offices, toilets, and communal areas are cleaned to a high standard.
Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors as required.
Empty bins and dispose of waste safely and hygienically.
Wipe down desks, tables, and other surfaces daily.
Clean and sanitise washrooms, replenishing soap, towels, and toilet paper as needed.
Dust furniture, fittings, and fixtures to maintain a tidy and hygienic environment.
Ensure cleaning materials and equipment are used safely and stored correctly.
Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to the Site Manager or Supervisor.
Follow all health and safety procedures, including COSHH and safeguarding policies.
Assist with deep cleaning during school holidays or as directed by management.

Location: York - Head Office***(must be locally based to YORK)***
Salary: £26k - £28k
We are seeking a
Credit Controller to join our Head Office team in York, as part of the Hire Division Finance team, you will be working in a positive environment where personal development is encouraged, creating career opportunities and a driven team.
In this role you will manage debtors to pre-legal stage in order to maximise cash flow, minimise the risk of bad debt, deliver excellent customer service, maintain good working relationships with commercial areas and encourage profitable trading
As a Credit Controller, you will have experience dealing with the following responsibilities:
- Credit Management - New and Existing Accounts
* Maintain customer master and credit information in SAP as necessary
* Give advice to commercial areas when necessary regarding the provision of credit facilities
* Utilise D&B Portfolio Manager to support credit opinions and to manage high risk debt
Debt Collection
* Ensure that monthly or ad hoc statements are sent to customers as necessary
* Ensure that overdue reminder letters are sent to all customers where appropriate in order to pursue overdue payment
* Ensure that all customers receive telephone reminders for overdue accounts as per the department timetable, and that an accurate telephone log of all conversations is maintained both in SAP and in excel To further ensure that reminder calls are logged using outlook task manager
* Ensure that large value debt is pre chased before the due date and to resolve any issues before the debt falls due
* Ensure that account reconciliations are completed where necessary in order to ensure agreement with our customers ledgers
* Action any unpaid cheques or Direct Debits urgently
* Identify, flag and monitor invoices which are held in dispute and to ensure they are resolved by the relevant personnel
* Action customer correspondence or incoming calls as necessary
* Management of purchase orders with client as and when necessary
* Direct Debit - DD mandates, advance notices, payments and associated tasks
Reporting
* Prepare bad debt provision at month end
* 60 Day debt + £100k debt review and comment
* Collate, maintain and distribute information regarding debtors as necessary to commercial area.
Additional tasks
* Assist sales ledger with transactional processing when necessary
* Process electronic billing when required
* D&B Portfolio Manager - data matching and management of alerts
* Process credit card payments promptly and securely, as and when required
* Organise customer correspondence and file securely

Engineering Draughtsperson to join our Project Engineering team in York.
As an
Engineering Draughtsperson you will produce structural engineering drawings for modular and non-modular construction components using computer-aided design (CAD) packages such as AutoCAD, Inventor or similar.
Role Details:
- Annual salary up to £35,000 dependent on skills and experience.
- Role based: York
- Contract type: Fixed term Contract (1 year)
- Annual leave of 25 days per annum plus bank holidays and opportunity to buy an additional 5 days each year.
In this role you will be required to:
- Support the Engineering team by ensuring Structural and Project Engineers' designs are accurately interpreted, drawn within agreed timescales and compliant with company specifications, statutory legislation and codes of practice.
- Provide detailed engineering drawings to customers, manufacturing teams and site operatives to enable safe planning, construction and installation of engineered solutions.
- Assist in the inspection of built engineering solutions, reviewing compliance with design intent and ensuring robust installation of on-site construction.
- Liaise with internal and external customers, collaborators, contractors and suppliers to ensure requirements and performance specifications are achieved.
- Participate in design reviews, contributing to the accuracy and quality of design outputs.

Our Ideal Candidate
* Educated to GCSE and A-Level (GCSE Maths and English at Grade 6 and above).
* Proficient in the use of CAD software (AutoCAD, Inventor or similar).
* Competent user of Microsoft Office, in particular Word and Excel.
* Good basic knowledge of structural and building engineering principles.
* Experience in engineering draughting of structural steelwork.
* Understanding of the properties and applications of common and specialist building materials.#
