Painter and Decorator
Job Type: Permanent
Location: Havant
Salary: £28,000 per annum
We are looking to recruit an experienced Painter to join our friendly team based in Havant.
Daily responsibilities of a Painter and Decorator are:
* Painting/staining garden gates, fences, garages etc.
* Assisting in determining the most cost effective approach to achieving a durable and quality decorative finish.
* Prepare and clean surfaces using the most appropriate method (e.g. scraping, sanding, sand-blasting and hydro blasting), including removing wallpaper, loose paint, repairing cracks, holes and joinery.
* Applying paint, stains, lacquers, fibreglass, metal coatings and any other materials as necessary.
Requirements of a Painter and Decorator are:
* NVQ Level 2 or above in Painting
* Full UK Driving Licence (minimum of 12 months)
* Previous experience within the responsive maintenance environment
