We are looking for an experienced Painter to work in Nottingham on the University. This will be a refurb job.
The work will be 7 days a week for 4x weeks. 8am- 5pm
You will be required to have your own brushes, ppe and transport. CSCS proffered but not essential.
Responsibilities:
- Repairing any surface defects such as fillers or cracks before painting
- Preparing surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding and removing old paint
- Applying paint to surfaces using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment
- Preparing work surfaces and surrounding areas with drop-cloths, tape, and paper before applying paints
- Completing all works to a high standard and in compliance with health and safety guidelines
- Ensuring that all work areas are clean and tidy, and that all tools and equipment are properly maintained
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience in painting and decorating
- Sound knowledge of health and safety regulations related to the job
- A high attention to detail, with a commitment to delivering high-quality work
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and prioritise workload effectively
