My client is a specialist engineering firm based in Leicestershire, they specialise in control panels for special purpose machinery, as well as sub-contract electronics for the MOD, Electronics businesses and Special Purpose Machinery. this well-established company has had a dramatic increase in production at the start of 2019 and they are now looking for two-panel wirers ASAP. THE ROLE OF ELECTRICAL FITTER/ WIRER

    Wiring Sub Assemblies

    Wiring Racks

    Machine Wiring

    Some mechanical assembly

    Preparation of wires

    Termination of wires

    Installation of cables

    Testing


THE RIGHT ELECTRICAL FITTER/ PANEL WIRER

    Ability to read schematics

    Wire point to point

    Terminate

    Work as part of the team

    Build panels from scratch
