Part II Architectural Assistant Job in Liverpool

A fixed-term opportunity has come up with a multi-disciplinary, employee-owned design studio in central Liverpool. Known for its planning-led approach, this studio brings architecture, landscape, and urban design under one roof, backed by a wider consultancy group with a strong national footprint.

You'll join a team delivering live local projects in residential and commercial sectors, working alongside senior architects to take projects from early-stage design through to planning and delivery. This is a 3-month role with an immediate start, ideal for a Part II Assistant or newly qualified Architect looking to gain hands-on experience in a supportive studio environment.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Work under senior staff to support delivery across multiple local projects
  • Produce detailed architectural drawing packages for planning and building control
  • Prepare colour-rendered plans and elevations for client and planning submissions
  • Liaise with internal and external consultants across the group
  • Collaborate with wider teams on multidisciplinary project coordination.

Required Skills & Experience

  • - Post-Part II (with in practice experience) or newly qualified Architect
  • - Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Photoshop, and InDesign (SketchUp desirable)
  • - Confidence preparing drawing packages and design visuals
  • - Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • - Able to work full-time from the Liverpool city centre office
