Title: Streetworks Administrator - Part Time

Working Pattern: 22.5 Hours over Monday Tuesday and Friday

Introduction:

The Southampton office is an extremely busy and exciting office, it is the main point of contact for the teams across the country out on site delivering schemes of work digging holes and laying new Virgin media cable. We work on planned and reactive works in this office, we liaise with the local councils and the client to ensure the works are delivered in a safe and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for ensuring all notices/permit are submitted as requested by our field teams and subcontractors
  • Ensure all notice/permit updates are received, actioned and logged
  • Ensure all comments/refusals are resolved/passed on to the relevant parties
  • Ensure all traffic management applications are made and relevant parties informed
  • Action defects, FPN's and section 74 issues in a timely manner in accordance with determined process including necessary follow up to ensure compliance to timescales
  • Maintain coring log
  • Manage personal and group emails
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers
  • Manage inbound and outbound phone calls

  • Skills and experience required:
  • Ability to liaise effectively with Virgin Media Street Works management representatives.
  • Ability to liaise effectively with HA representatives
  • Ability to liaise effectively with sub-contractors
  • Ability to self manage personal workload
  • Good computer skills including a good knowledge of Microsoft office programmes.
