Our Voluntary Sector client is looking for a driven and forward thinking People and Quality Manager to drive their people agenda, as well as developing and implementing their strategic People Plan.
This new role has been created by our client to support the Chief Executive and Senior Leadership Team with all aspects of people management. With a primary base in Preston, but working across other areas within the North West, this role provides an excellent opportunity for someone to take a first step into a HR Management role and make your mark.
The primary functions of this role will include:
- Providing the strategic and operational leadership of the People function.
- Developing and implementing the People Plan.
- Coaching and guiding managers on people and organisational related matters.
- Performance management - reviewing the existing approach.
- Managing reward and recognition, leading on implementation of improvements.
- Drive a culture of high performance throughout the organisation.
- Lead the delivery of recruitment, retention, development and succession planning initiatives.
- Develop and implement organisation-wide quality management processes and procedures.
- Line management of the volunteer lead and data compliance lead.
Our client requires someone for this role who has experience at senior HR Advisor or first level manager within HR, which can be in any type of organisation, but where those skills are transferrable to the voluntary sector
Applicants should have experience of developing and implementing people-related plans and strategies, and management of many aspects of a typical HR function.
