We are working with a fantastic college in the Buckinghamshire area who are looking for a Performance coach to start as soon as possible for at least 8 weeks, however this is likely to be longer. Full time, hours, 37 per week across Monday to Friday. The ideal candidate will have experience as either a Performance coach or Education Learning mentor or Job Coach or Progression Coach. The college are offering an hourly rate of between £14 to £16 + Holiday pay and are looking to interview immediately.

Role responsibilities
To support students in their personal development, achievement and progression to Further or Higher education and/or employment.
To support Curriculum Managers and Course Leaders to achieve high success rates and the development of employability and enterprise skills in all students in order that they are well prepared for the transition to the world of work.
To support the development of Buckinghamshire College Group students as resilient and reliable
Adaptable and able to problem solve
Creative and innovative
Motivated and able to work independently
Collaborative and a team player
An excellent communicator
English, maths and digitally literate


The person & qualifications
Must have GCSE English, Maths at C or above
Degree Coaching and/or mentoring qualification
Knowledge of how to plan and carryout activities that engage young adults to contribute skills and abilities to the world of work either through volunteering or work
An understanding of, and demonstrable commitment to, Safeguarding Children and Young People (Every Child Matters), or Knowledge of moral, social and emotional development of 16-19 year olds specifically.
