Protocol are working exclusively with an FE College in the London Borough of Hillingdon for a 0.8FTE Hairdressing Lecturer.
Salary - £22194 - £30952 per annum (actual salary)
MAIN PURPOSE OF POST:
The main purpose of the job is to ensure the retention and achievement of students through the delivery of good practice in teaching and learning. To teach, develop and improve programmes of study in Hairdressing.
Design and Delivery of Programmes
Teach on a range of courses in the Section.
Courses offered include:
*NVQ/VRQ Hairdressing Levels 1, 2 and 3
*L3 Advanced Technical Diploma in Hairdressing
*NVQ Barbering Level 2
*Cutting and Styling Courses
*Functional Skills
*Apprenticeship frameworks at intermediate and advanced level
*Prepare schemes of work, lesson plans and resource materials for teaching programmes.
*Utilise IT and learning technology to deliver elements of the curriculum.
*Deliver and assess Functional Skills in maths and English.
*Integrate Functional Skills into the curriculum.
*Prepare assessment plans and schedules and ensure students are aware of your expectations.
*Record and update formative and summative assessment tracking.
*Implement the School's policies on assessment and homework.
*Participate in the evaluation of the effectiveness of the programme.

*Relevant Professional Qualification (min Level 3 Hairdressing)
*Recognised Teaching Qualification
*Assessor Award
*Internal Verifier Award
*4 years in Hairdressing Sector
