Personal Assistant Part-time (Flexible hours/days) - Edinburgh
This is a newly created role and we believe will require 16 hours per week to fullfil and should be between the hours of 9.00am and 5.30pm. It could be that the role increases scope and time commitment in the future, but we are keen to be flexible to suit the employee as well as the business. Renewco Power is a newly formed renewable power business, with plans to become a leading European clean energy platform. Renewco will focus on developing utility-scale solar, wind and storage assets across Europe, with the aim of maximising the potential in clean energy projects. Renewco's founders are a highly experienced and entrepreneurial group, including two of Europe's most successful renewable power entrepreneurs, Frans van den Heuvel, former CEO of Solarcentury, and Alan Baker, former CEO of Airtricity-Scotland and Forsa Energy. The team is led by CEO, Gavin McCallum, who has a background in private equity and the energy sector including at BP Alternative Energy. The founders have over 100 years of combined renewables development and investment experience, having successfully developed more than 10GW of renewables in over 50 countries, raising more than £2 billion to finance these assets in the process. We are looking for a PA who will support the CEO and Chairman in all diary and reporting activities as well as managing the Renewco teams' travel arrangements. You'll also help to put systems, process and controls in place that make administration easy, compliant and efficient. This role has scope to grow. Key activities and responsibilities: * Managing the team's diary for weekly, monthly, board meets and ad hoc Investment Committee meetings. * Assisting diaries for larger / more complex external meetings. * Booking travel for whole team - finding cost effective availability. * Organising and booking all Renewco team meetings offsite. * Managing Renewco SharePoint site - setting up new folders, access permissions etc. * Periodic updates to company website and company LinkedIn page. * Preparing slides, reports, presentations and memos. * Assisting with onboarding of new staff. * Managing the WIP and project pipeline. As an evolving role and business, it is essential that the successful candidate is someone who is prepared to roll their sleeves up and undertake work which may be outside the core brief, while also being able to contribute to and enhance the more strategic aspects of a growing business.
