Kier Infrastructure Major Projects are currently recruiting for a Planner to initially monitor, contribute and develop aspects of the planning lifecycle on our A13 Widening Project.
Key Responsibilities
In this exciting Planner role, you'll initially play a key role within the A13 Widening project to aid delivery to time and budget. You'll be working to ensure the programme is further developed, communicated, reviewed, monitored and efficiently delivered across all stages of the project planning life cycle, supporting the project management team through construction and into handover.
You'll work closely with the Head of Planning and the site operational team to monitor the sequence of work and resourcing of the project. You'll also provide key data to support the business unit and scheme's project control reporting. Subject to business requirements, this role could also feature a secondment to our work winning team, to further support our Major Projects growth plan.
What are we looking for?
You'll have a:
- Demonstrable planning experience working for a main contractor, preferably under NEC contract conditions
- Delivery experience of major projects with a technical knowledge of the highway construction process
- Competency within Primavera P6
- Proactive mind-set with good communication and problem-solving skills
- Operational site delivery background
