We are Kier, one of the UK's leading construction and infrastructure services, working on projects such as Hinkley Point and Mogden Sewage Treatment Works.
We are now recruiting for a Planner to join our Regional Civils team in Cornwall to provide project planning support for all aspects of the designated business stream activities from pre-tender to final account stage. This role will report into our Senior Planner and you will be required to visit sites.
Key Responsibilities
In this exciting Site Planner role, you'll ensure the effective maintenance of the programme and develop and maintain the contractors plan in accordance with the contract. You'll work closely with stakeholders to communicate programme performance and be responsible for promoting strong programme governance throughout the delivery of the project. You'll also develop a fully integrated design, procurement and project programme in co-ordination with the client and other stakeholders and prepare tender programmes for submissions.
What do we need from you?
You'll need to hold the relevant qualifications, minimum of HNC/HND in a relevant discipline and programme delivery experience. We're also looking for detailed knowledge and experience of managing and maintaining a works programme. You'll have knowledge of full MS Office suite including Project, Project Server and SharePoint and experience in risk identification.
