Location: Picketts Lock Depot and some travel to other offices and sites
Business area: Highways
Contract / Hours: Full time, Permanent.
Salary: £25 - 32K + 26 days Holiday + Benefits

We are now recruiting for a Planner to join our Highways team in London to ensure the rapid, efficient, effective flow of orders from receipt to completion throughout the various maintenance processes, mainly within WMS, Task Order Receipt, Planning, Scheduling, DCP, Permitting and Completions.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Planning Manager the Planner will actively promote Health and Safety in the workplace, setting a good example to other employees and ensuring awareness of and compliance with the general Health and Safety responsibilities as set out in the Health and Safety Procedures Manual. Coordinate works to ensure Kier works do not clash with those of others (utilities and other London boroughs) and cause congestion on the network. Ensure all planning constraints are dealt with effectively. Produce daily works programmes for operational teams and administer live inventory updates. Liaise with external and internal stakeholders and supply chain partners.
What do we need from you?
- Knowledge of the highways maintenance industry
- Experience in the use of Works order management systems for planning works
- Ability to work independently, but also act as a key member of the planning team
- Ability to work to targets set and be fully responsible for performance and outputs
- Able to produce data/reports in relation to these targets
