We're looking for a Planning Administrator to join our Utilities, South West Water team. Within this role, you can enjoy the flexibility of Hybrid working. You will be part of a collaborative team environment, where training is provided.

In the role of Planning Administrator, you will work closely with our site teams and Supervisor's based in Cornwall to obtain their ground works reinstatement requirements, ensuring we repair the roads and pavements after work has been carried out. You will be responsible for end-to-end planning, and liaising with our suppliers (i.e., tarmac, concrete, and footways) to ensure we have the required tools and equipment.

Kier Utilities brings the built environment to life, keeping people and businesses connected. In this role, you will be working on our South West Water contract, where we work on repairs and maintenance services to provide reliable, efficient, and high-quality drinking water and wastewater services.

Location: Hybrid Working - Home & our Bodmin office

Contract: Permanent - Full or Part time, Flexible Working available

Salary: £21,000- £23,000 per annum - dependant on experience

Responsibilities

Your day-to-day will include:

  • Deal with site queries to efficiently resolve issues
  • Liaise with Area planners and Local Management as required
  • Keep systems and databases up to date at all times
  • Assist with scheduling and planning activities
Who are we looking for?

You do not need to have previous Utilities planning experience, we will provide you with the required training.

You will need to have

  • Excellent IT skills
  • Be highly organised and enjoy multitasking
  • Enjoy picking up the phone, and working in a busy and fast-paced environment
