Planning Manager Job in Berkshire

I have a Planning Manager job available for my client who are privately owned national housebuilder. This housebuilder is looking to speak to Planning Managers or Senior Town Planners looking to make the next step in their career.

Established 50 years ago, with 9 offices across the South West, Midlands, East Anglia, and North West. They are one of the UK's largest privately owned housebuilders who deliver well designed quality homes. As a company the development sizes range from circa 150 - 3000 units, this region delivers around 500 units per year across Berkshire, South Oxfordshire, Dorset, Hampshire and West Sussex and have a strong land bank for the next 5 years.

Role & Responsibilities

- Preparing and submitting planning applications

- Give advice on planning matters

- Assess the land development against the company criteria

- Attend internal and external meetings throughout the planning process

- Keep updated on local and national planning policy changes

- Preparing monthly progress reports

- Work closely with the land and technical teams

- Support the Planning Director.

Required Skills & Experience

- Ideally educated to a degree level of a relevant course

- Experienced with planning for volume residential developments

- Ideally 5+ years in Town Planning.
