Kier Strategic Projects is currently seeking a Project Planning Manager to join their team for delivery of major projects (£150m +) within the Custodial, Defence, Aviation, Science and Commercial Sectors.

Key Responsibilities

To lead the planning function on a major building project £150m+. Inspire the planning team and support the wider project team in driving accurate programme development, that are integrated from conception to completion. Reporting to the core team, delivering accurate reporting that supports the journey of the project.

To determine the requirements for resources and the sequencing, timing and dependencies of activities of the project in order to meet or exceed customers' requirements. To be the first point of contact in reporting and delivery of progress information to the client.

To recognise contractual, financial, technical and operational risks and to find opportunities to minimise risk and maximise gross profit through the planning function. To support the fulfilment of the project safely, on time, and to the required quality while maximising gross profit and customers' satisfaction.

To implement all of Kier Group's policies including those for SHE and risk management. To promote Kier Group's values towards its customers in order to meet or exceed their expectations and fulfil the vision of becoming the most highly respected company in the industry.
