Kier Utilities is looking to recruit a Planning and Streetworks Administrator who will report to the Design Manager. The role of Planning and Streetworks Administrator is a multi-disciplined position. The main function is to support the design and management on a daily basis & providing effective communication with all stakeholders.


Your key responsibilities will consist of:

  • Collate work packs & input onto the Client & company systems as well as prepare utility drawings from the relevant statutory undertakers.
  • Management of Streetworks Notices on both Kier and Client systems throughout the scheme lifecycle, including liaison with key personnel to ensure timely closure and completion of job cards and associated processes.
  • To ensure all Streetworks Notices are detailed and accurate and to ensure all persons concerned are aware of all available NRSWA Information.
  • To complete all work packages for distribution from design information
  • Undertake closure and filing of completed work packages
  • General administration duties
  • Produce and despatch Customer notification letters/leaflets
  • Dealing with Customer enquiries and complaints
  • Serve & close notices in compliance with NRSWA
  • Checking for accuracy and input fittings onto SAP
  • Organise with third party contractors for chlorination requirements and pressure testing
  • Input onto SAP of valving operations undertaken at site and update of Campaign Manager.

  • Excellent IT skills
  • Knowledge of Water industry Regulations / Kier Customer Policies
  • Able to communicate effectively with staff & clients at all levels
  • Relevant knowledge of NRSWA, TMA and health and safety regulations
  • Technical and industry based operational knowledge
