Planning Streetworks Coordinator
Location: Hatfield
Kier Utilities is looking to recruit a Customer and Streetworks Coordinator to join their Affinity Water framework team. The successful post holder will be to proactively manage work requests from the client and take responsibility for the day to day management of all streetwork permits and notices following both client and Kier systems and procedures. You will collate work packs and prepare utility drawings from the relevant statutory undertakers . You will ensure that our reputations for customer satisfaction are protected and enhanced before, during and after delivery of works and that any subsequent regulatory measures or customer satisfaction scores are impacted positively. This role will champion the needs of customers and proactively manage them to minimise unwanted contacts and complaints. You will also provide administrative assistance to the wider team.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate fully as a member of the team
- Issuing of initial Streetworks Permits & Notices and to make sure all persons concerned are aware of all available NRSWA Information.
- To complete all work packages for distribution from design information
- Undertake closure and filing of completed work packages
- General administration and word processing duties
- Updating Client and Kier systems
- Produce and dispatch customer correspondence and notifications
- Liaise with Client to maintain satisfaction and provide the highest level of customer service.
- Serve & close permits & notices in compliance with NRSWA
- Raising of planned water main shuts on client system and ensuring compliance with Kier/Client process.
- For ALL works ensure that the customer engagement process is adhered to in a manner appropriate for the job in question.
- Proactively manage sensitive interactions - e.g. interruptions to supply etc.
- Provide accurate records of complaint investigations to enable root cause analysis.
- Work in a collaborative manner with our clients and other sub-contract partners, demonstrating commitment to help others deliver for their customers
- Manage the shared customer complaint and unwanted contact Inbox.
- Carry out Customer Service site audits, in line with Kier policy
- Liaise with Client, stakeholders and (where appropriate) customers to maintain satisfaction and provide the highest level of customer service.
- General administration and word processing duties related to streetworks and customer matters.
Key Skills
- Excellent IT skills
- Knowledge of Water industry Regulations / Kier Customer Policies
- Able to communicate effectively with staff & clients at all levels
- Relevant knowledge of NRSWA, TMA and health and safety regulations
- Technical and industry based operational knowledge
