We are looking for a Plasterer to work on social housing projects. You will be required to go to the depot in Walsall and the work will be throughout Cannock and Kidderminster. The work will be Monday- Friday 7:30- 16:30- paid 40 hours per week.
Must have OWN VAN.
As a plasterer, you will be responsible for carrying out repairs and maintenance to walls, ceilings and floors in social housing properties. You will also have expertise in damp proofing and insulation, and be able to work within budget and time constraints to ensure all projects are completed to a high standard.
Key responsibilities include:
- Carrying out repairs to walls, ceilings and floors
- Patching
- Repairs and Maintenance
- Undertaking damp proofing and insulation work
- Working within budget and time constraints to complete projects to a high standard
- Communicating effectively with tenants and other stakeholders
- Ensuring all health and safety requirements are met
The successful candidate will have:
- Proven experience as a plasterer, with expertise in repairs and maintenance of social housing properties
- A relevant qualification in plastering or a related field
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Knowledge of health and safety requirements
- A driving license and own transport (OWN VAN)
- Own tools
