Dutton Recruitment require Platers for work in Tinsley, Sheffield. The position is workshop based and is available on a temp-to-perm basis.

We are looking to add an experienced Plater to the existing team. The job holder's main duties will include:

Review engineering drawings for parts to be fabricated
Ensure tolerances and parameters are met to satisfy quality and output
Ensure production timings are met / exceeded
Follow company rules and adhere to procedures
Fully satisfy production schedules to the correct quality level ad within the specified time scale and complete all necessary documentation
To promote and encourage best practice in fabrication procedures ensuring a safe working environment and complying with Health and Safety standards

Candidates must also:

Have sufficient knowledge /experience of general engineering and manufacturing methods
Have previous experience of the manufacturing industry and worked with Structural Steel. Appropriate training will be provided as and when required.
