Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in social housing properties, including water supply, drainage, heating systems, and sanitary fittings.
Diagnose faults and carry out repairs in a timely and effective manner, minimizing tenant disruption.
Respond promptly to emergency plumbing issues, including leaks, blockages, and malfunctioning systems.
Conduct regular inspections of plumbing systems to identify and rectify potential problems.
Complete all necessary documentation, including work orders, timesheets, and job sheets, in an accurate and timely manner.
Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, health and safety regulations, and company policies.
Communicate effectively with tenants to arrange access for plumbing work and provide updates on progress.
Maintain a professional and respectful approach when working in tenants' homes, ensuring minimal disruption and upholding a high level of customer service.
Work collaboratively with other tradespeople, managers, and the wider maintenance team to ensure timely completion of repairs and maintenance tasks.
Monitor and maintain plumbing tools, equipment, and materials, ensuring they are in good working condition.
