We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Plumber to join our team in Donabate to assist with the refurbishment and fitting out the complete range of Portakabin buildings to the highest possible standards. Role Details
  • Salary: €49,000
  • Role based: Donabate
  • Contract type: Permanent, Full Time
  • Annual leave: 25 days plus bank holidays
Role Responsibilities
  • 1st / 2nd fix cold water systems, drainage and sanitation, hot water heaters, while incorporating all types of plumbing materials, copper, PVC (bathrooms, showers, canteens)
  • Ensure all work is completed to specification based off construction drawings
  • Maintenance / service & repair of all plumbing installations to existing units
  • Conduct fault finding and rectification of existing systems
  • Attend rectifications at client sites, interacting with our customers in a professional manner
  • Accurate recording of work activities to ensure correct allocation of costs to projects
  • Ensure compliance relevant Health and Safety practices and all applicable legislation to encourage and maintain zero harm environment and culture

There is also great opportunity for career progression within Portakabin. Our Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who:
  • Has 3-5 years' experience in domestic plumbing installation, repairs & maintenance
  • Has proven operational experience related to the plumbing trade and is highly skilled in all aspects of domestic plumbing
  • Has familiarity of Mechanical systems including Air handling units, boilers, pumps and ventilation would be an advantage
  • Applies specialist and detailed technical knowledge
  • Has the ability to establish good relationships with customers and staff, building effective networks
  • Follows procedures and policies
  • Produces workable solutions to a range of problems
  • Adapts interpersonal style to suit different people or situations
  • Listens, consults others and communicates proactively
  • Has good organisation and planning skills
  • Has demonstrable experience gained within construction/related industry
  • Has demonstrable experience of working in a client facing role
