Contract: Full time- Permanent

Salary and benefits: Up to £47k (dependent on experience)

We are now recruiting for a Poling Supervisor to join our Utilities team in Basingstoke to be responsible for ensuring that the Services across the division meet contractual requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensuring sites are adequately staffed and opening and closure procedures are correctly completed each day
  • Ensuring that all staff complete their daily tasks to a satisfactory standard and will remain in contact with the Operations Manager and/or office staff and be responsive to operational needs
  • Where the appropriate licence is held the Supervisor may be required to operate vehicles and plant
  • Ensuring materials at the sites are properly and safely stored and that the sites are kept in a clean and tidy condition at all times
  • You will undertake any other reasonable requests

  • Experience in a similar role
  • Proven experience in the management and development of employees and teams
  • Be highly committed, self-motivated and a good communicator
  • Ability to take ownership and solve problems and implement actions
  • Commitment to customer care and customer focus
  • Awareness of operative skill areas other than primary trade
  • Level of flexibility is required
