Salary and benefits: Up to £47k (dependent on experience)
We are now recruiting for a Poling Supervisor to join our Utilities team in Basingstoke to be responsible for ensuring that the Services across the division meet contractual requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensuring sites are adequately staffed and opening and closure procedures are correctly completed each day
- Ensuring that all staff complete their daily tasks to a satisfactory standard and will remain in contact with the Operations Manager and/or office staff and be responsive to operational needs
- Where the appropriate licence is held the Supervisor may be required to operate vehicles and plant
- Ensuring materials at the sites are properly and safely stored and that the sites are kept in a clean and tidy condition at all times
- You will undertake any other reasonable requests
- Experience in a similar role
- Proven experience in the management and development of employees and teams
- Be highly committed, self-motivated and a good communicator
- Ability to take ownership and solve problems and implement actions
- Commitment to customer care and customer focus
- Awareness of operative skill areas other than primary trade
- Level of flexibility is required
