With our diverse portfolio of projects, we are looking for an individual who has a passion for the project at hand and securing work whilst also being able to work as part of a closely knit team which has an opportunity to develop and control its own destiny. We understand this approach is essential to ensure we consistently win work and secure repeat business.
You will be working on a portfolio of projects predominately involving the re cladding of high-rise buildings. By their nature the works are safety critical and involve significant fire and general safety risk. Typical project values are between £2M and £9M and are of a construction nature. Successful applicants will have a huge opportunity to grow and develop as this new workstream evolves.

Your role will be key to lead, manage and coordinate the Pre-Construction activities of either two stage or single stage opportunities. You will be expected to lead a small preconstruction team to ensure that various projects are managed effectively. You will ensure that the preconstruction programme and milestones are met; design management is undertaken in a proper and timely manner; commercial proposals are developed in a timely manner; risks are identified, managed and appropriately apportioned; subcontractors and subconsultants are appointed and properly managed whilst also managing relationships with the Client and the appointed professional team.
What do we need from you?
The ideal candidate will have a strong background relating to Cladding, Housing Maintenance, Capital Projects/Works, Residential Buildings, Property Construction, or Minor Works. Whilst expertise in cladding and envelope construction is not essential, successful applicants will need to demonstrate an ability to plan, coordinate and manage either at preconstruction or construction stage whilst also demonstrating a sound construction knowledge.
We encourage flexible working wherever possible in your role - and this may allow you to work from home or from one of our other offices/sites, if appropriate. The cladding team will be based in the Basingstoke office and so frequent travel to that location will be required.
