Role responsibilities
Creating and delivering a curriculum to help students succeed in a mainstream secondary setting.
Teaching across a range of upper Key Stage 2 subjects.
Work closely within SENDco in order to promote a learning experience which shall help students achieve their potential.
To support departments as appropriate to implement and deliver an appropriately broad, balanced, relevant and differentiated curriculum for student
The person & qualifications
Must have knowledge and experience to teach upper Key Stage 2 subjects - in particular Maths, English and Science.
Thorough knowledge of curriculum requirements and developments within an area of Special Education.
Secure knowledge and understanding of a range of Assessment for learning strategies.
Experience of using IEPs.
