Principal Designer / Health and Safety Consultant required for a new role with a Building Consultancy working primarily with clients in the education sector. The work for this role is largely around the Midlands area with the head office being based in Leicestershire.
This is an independently owned, owner managed practices with three offices across the central region. They are a very busy and highly successful firm able to offer great training and development. Projects are largely for clients in the education sector although this includes a wide range of work including both new build and refurbishment projects.
The successful candidate will be undertaking duties such as H&S inspections as well as complying with CDM regulations. You will ensure all projects are completed efficiently while producing F10's, Risk Registers, Pre Construction information, reviewing plans and H&S files, amongst other duties.
We are looking for a H&S Advisor with a previous background in construction as well as a construction related qualification. A Nebosh Construction Certificate or similar and / or IOSH would also be an advantage. The role will also naturally involve some site visits so an ability and willingness to do some travel is a requirement.
