As the Principal Engineer (Wind Engineering) you will be responsible for driving the team forward, in a project management manner.

Located in London (North West) salary is up to £60,000 depending on experience.

    Business development, building up relationships with new and existing clients

    Client liaison from tender to final reporting stage

    Attending client meetings when required around the UK (20%-30%)

    Performing technical work by post-processing and interpreting wind tunnel and modelling data

    Project and staff management

    Supervising win tunnel model design and build activities on projects and on-site

The Candidate

As the successful Principal Engineer, you are likely to have significant experience in the following

    Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering

    Previous management experience (3+ years minimum)

    Proven background in business development, and winning new business within the sector

    Expert knowledge in Wind Engineering, including; Building aerodynamics, wind micro climate, wind loading and wind tunnel testing

    Building & Structural engineering knowledge
