The Company:
One of the most reputable engineering consultancies in the industry, an international multi-disciplinary consultancy with over 20,000 staff based around the world. The Buildings Services team is a multi-disciplinary team of experts, who is looking for a Principal Public Health Engineer, for either their office in Victoria, London, or in Epsom, Surrey.
The Role:
As a Principal Public Health Engineer, you will use your extensive technical expertise to deliver designs relating to Buildings Services projects, including:
- Above (and below) ground drainage.
- Hot & cold-water systems, inc. wash down points in plantrooms & cleaners' cupboards.
- Drain venting.
- Rainwater pipe work to ground level.
- Blue roofs.
- Grey and Black water system.
- Gas supplies to the buildings.
- Water storage.
- Sprinklers.
- Operational testing/witnessing of the above systems.
The Requirements:
- Chartered Engineer (or working towards) with CIBSE or IMechE.
- Good level of computer literacy in a range of digital tools including Revit, NBS and Microsoft packages.
- Familiar with energy reduction methods and approaches to decarbonising new and existing buildings and understanding of energy and hot water design implications.
- Awareness of the principles of LETI targets and an understanding of operational and embodied carbon in relation to public health engineering.
