Principal Town Planner Job in Southampton

My client has a new Principal Town Planner Job in Southampton. They are looking to speak to experienced Town Planners from either public or private sector. This new position offers a clear progression path to an Associate level in the next 12 months.

This planning consultancy have an extensive amount of new and existing business from their long existing clients as well as continuing to develop new relationships with new clients. As the successful Planner you'll be working on DM planning applications, appeals and policy work, the rest of your time will be spent working closely with the Directors on larger projects such as, regeneration schemes, developments of 500+ units, hotels, hospital and much more!

Role & Responsibilities

  • Provide expert planning advise to clients
  • Preparing planning appraisals and strategies
  • Project management
  • Participate in preparation of bids and tenders
  • Liaising with internal and external parties
  • Support the Directors with larger scale/complex projects.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 3+ years experience in Town Planning
  • Degree in Town Planning
  • Open to experience from public or private sector
  • Ideally MRTPI.

  • £40,000 - £50,000 DOE
