An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Procurement Manager to join a well-known manufacturer. Enjoy working in a specialist team, in a varied role where you will be tasked with inventory purchase and defining strategy for the department.
This multi-billion-pound group are listed on the London stock exchange, and are operating in a number of different sectors, including renewables, water & energy, data centres, construction and ventilation. Enjoy working within a company who offer excellent long-term progression.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage, lead and develop the procurement team
Work closely with engineering to ensure component specifications
Manage the supply chain and ensure quality controls are in place
Agree and manage PPV and cost down projects to achieve agreed targets
Background required:
Experience within Procurement/Buying
Relevant degree desirable
Proven negotiation skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
