Product and Marketing Manager - Midlands
Breedon are currently seeking a Product and Marketing Manager based in the Midlands.
Reporting to the Regional Managing Director Wales & South, you will be responsible for effectively promoting and positioning our GB Materials products and services brand in the market, together with driving new product development to meet the changing needs of our customers and further support the sustainability agenda of Breedon Group.
The key responsibilities of the role are:
- Assist the Technical and Performance Products team in providing professional specialist support both internally and externally. Use sound market intelligence to drive the delivery of new products to market.
- Manage and further develop product range for existing performance products that will support the commercial teams to deliver volume growth.
- Develop and implement creative marketing campaigns which promote strong business profiles and brand awareness of the GB Materials business, products and services.
- Work in partnership with internal key stakeholders, including the Head of Internal Communications and Engagement to ensure that any marketing and communications plans support key business objectives and are aligned to broader business messages, for example in Purpose and Values, CSR, Operations, and Health & Safety.
- Support the Commercial teams to develop engaging communications with Customers, that reflect our brand and attract new business, using a wide range of resources and media platforms.
- Ensure that our internal intranet, external website and other written communications reflect our brand, that content is accurate and up to date and that they continue to be relevant and useful platforms for current and prospective Customers.
- Create and implement an evolving social media strategy for GB Materials and report on its effectiveness and return on investment.
You will possess the following key skills and attributes:
- Highly effective interpersonal, influencing and communication skills, including the ability to write and present clear and concise professional communications for both internal and external audiences.
- Extensive and credible experience with a proven track record of shaping and driving the delivery of creative marketing and commercial plans within a related industry or one with a similar scale of complexity.
- Extensive experience in the development and management of a product range in a B2B Business.
- Proven track record in successfully designing and implementing a digital marketing framework.
- Able to demonstrate a high level of business awareness along with an appreciation and knowledge of the key principles underpinning the business in which they operate.
- Experience of leading through change and implementing effective communication strategies that drive the necessary change.
- Ability to perform under pressure and/or opposition and make controlled responses in difficult situations.
