We are looking for a Production Administrator to join our Manufacturing Team based in York. In this role you will support the Production Management team with the administration of digital systems, quality reporting, material control, production documentation, KPI information and assist with the module dispatch processes. You will also work in a supportive and collaborative manner in order to meet the overall objectives of the department and the wider business. Role Details
  • Salary: from £19,000 per annum to £23,500 per annum pro rata depending on experience
  • Role based: York, YO32 9PT
  • Contract type: 6 month FTC
  • Annual leave: 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays
Role Responsibilities * Support the Production Team Leaders with day to day electronic bookings of material and labour. * Monitor consumable tooling and equipment usage throughout the production line and take the necessary action to ensure shortages do not have a detrimental impact on production efficiency. * Support the process of cycle counting and material control * Support the creation and publication of Key Performance Indicator (KPI) information. * Support the production and maintenance of safety documentation and to actively contribute to the pursuit of a zero harm working environment. * Support and actively contribute to continuous improvement activities. * Provide the Distribution department with timely production information in order to coordinate the efficient dispatch of customer modules * Support the investigation and reporting of quality issues; including any associated material adjustments within the ERP system. * Monitor and support the use of iAuditor (quality documentation system) in order to ensure information is being recorded accurately and consistently. Our Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who has: * Experience in using Microsoft Office: Excel, Word etc * Good planning, organising, problem solving and analytical thinking skills * Good level of numeracy/literacy * Excellent communication skills and attention to detail Experience working with SAP would also be beneficial but not essential even if you do not match all of our `ideal' criteria we would still be very keen to receive your CV as we love developing our people and may feel that you could be developed into this role.
