Breedon are currently seeking an individual to join the Production Operations support team at Hope Cement Works in Derbyshire. This is an opportunity to join a multi-disciplined team who play a key part in the operation of Hope Works.
You will possess good communication and problem-solving skills and be able to demonstrate initiative and a willingness to learn and succeed. It would be an advantage for you to be able to demonstrate knowledge/experience of the following:
- Working knowledge of cement manufacturing plant and process
- Mobile plant experience including telescopic forklift
- High Pressure Jetting
- First line maintenance experience and knowledge
- First line inspections of mechanical plant
- Knowledge and understanding of Health, Safety and Environmental issues
- Experience of working in a team
- Experience of working shifts
- Flexibility regarding working hours is required at all times and a willingness to participate in out of hours call out cover is essential.
We are looking for an individual who is flexible, self-motivated and possesses a positive attitude in their approach to work. Willingness to train both internally and externally is a key priority.
