Breedon are currently seeking a Production Operative based at our Severn Sands marine dredging and bagging operation in Newport, South Wales. You will be responsible for the day to day operation of both the fixed and mobile plant, as well as general housekeeping.
The successful candidate must hold a current driving licence and will ideally hold a licence for light and heavy plant including fork lift trucks, however this is not essential as training will be provided for the right candidate. You will be self-motivated and have the ability to work on your own or as part of a team. You will also have a willingness to learn and be a good communicator.
Ideally you will have knowledge of road haulage operations and experience in a similar role. An awareness of the aggregate industry would be advantageous. It is essential that you have excellent communication skills, are able to work in a pressured environment, and have a strong desire to provide high levels of customer service.
